Ulysses Man Jailed For Raping Women

BREAKING NEWS From Elmira Star Gazette
A Ulysses man faces multiple charges after Pennsylvania State Police say he raped two mentally disabled women multiple times last summer.

Police say Kenneth Robert Mack, 60, raped the two victims, who were undergoing respite care at Mack's house because of their mental disabilities. Police say that because of their mental disabilities, the victims -- a 22-year-old Ulysses woman and a 58-year-old Ulysses woman -- were unable to give consent to the sexual encounters.

Mack has been charged with numerous counts of rape, aggravated indecent assault, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, sexual assault and indecent assault.

Mack was arraigned before Magisterial District Court Justice Delores Bristol and remanded to the Potter County Jail on $50,000 bail. A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for Monday.
