Voters who are confused about which candidate to support in the upcoming 5th Congressional District Primary have help from two sources .Pennsylvania Cable Network will begin its political coverage with a LIVE airing of the 5th Congressional District Republican Forum from the Rocky Grove Fire Hall in Franklin beginning at 7:30 p.m. All nine candidates vying for the congressional seat that is now held by Rep. John Peterson (R-PA) are expected to be in attendance. The event, which is sponsored by the Venango County Republican Committee, will feature a moderated question-and-answer format. PCN will re-air the forum on Saturday, April 12 at 2:00 p.m.
The 5th Congressional District Democratic Forum will air on PCN at 9:00 p.m. following the live event in Franklin. The Democratic Forum taped April 10 at the DuBois campus of Penn State University will feature all three democratic candidates. Representatives from three local DuBois news media services will act as moderators for the event and will author the questions of the candidates. The event is sponsored by the City of DuBois Democratic Committee. PCN will re-air the forum beginning at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 12.
Hi Solomon, I have to stand corrected. I had mentioned that I didnt think any of the canditates would advertise on the New York TV stations which cover potter county. I believe this morning I saw and ad for Walker on Channel 18Elmira, which covers eastern potter and all of tioga county.
