The area has lost not only a fine physician, but a man of honesty and integrity as well. He will be greatly, greatly missed. My prayers and heartfelt sympathy go out to his family.
He has plowed that driveway for 30 years. Absolutley unbelieveable. There are no words to help with such a tragic loss.
God Bless the entire family during this tragic event!!!
Dr Bowman was a very special man - my life has been blessed to have known and worked with him. My thoughts and prayers are extended to his wife Barbara and their children.
I have known Doug since I was a young teen, and he has been a friend, a wonderful physician, and most of all - a very Great Man. The shock of losing someone like Doug is overwhelming...and to lose him so tragically compounds the loss. God Bless Barbara, Adam, Laura, Becky, and the entire Bowman family. We will sorely miss you Doug, and Smethport is a better place because of you....
