Port Allegany - Ronald K. Gehman, 61, of Port Allegany, died Tuesday (March 24, 2009).

He was born Jan 1, 1948 in Barto, PA, a son of Abraham and Mary Kulp Gehman. On May 4, 1974 in Boyertown, PA, he married Genevieve (Jennie) L. Stauffer, who survives.

Mr. Gehman was a graduate of Boyertown High School.

Mr. Gehman was employed as a warehouse manager for D E Errick, Inc. He later worked for Witter Gas and Oil and Tioga Energy and most recently was employed Sandburg Oil of Olean NY.

In addition to his wife and mother of Barto, PA he is survived by one daughter: Hannah (Joshua) Stream of Cottonwood Heights, UT; one son: Jonathan Z. (Andrea) Gehman of Silver Spring, MD; three sisters: Rhoda Gehman, Johanna Gehman and Ada Gehman all of Bally, PA; six brothers: Dr. Linford Gehman of Bergton, VA, Abe Gehman and Merrill Gehman of Bally, PA, Harley Gehman of Indian, ALASKA, Dwight Gehman of Bally, PA, James Gehman of Boyertown, PA; One grandson Alexander Gehman and another grandchild due in September.

Mr. Gehman was preceded in death by his Father.

There will be no visitation.

Friends are invited to attend funeral services at 11:00 am Saturday, March 28, 2009 in St Gabriel's Church with the Rev. Charles R. Schmitt as celebrant.

Memorials may be made to Port Allegany Star Hose Company #1, Port Allegany, or St. Mary's Catholic Church, Roulette, PA.
