these people can,t believe that people are getting sick of there BS. and can,t believe that people are fighting back.people are finding out that thing in the whitehouse is nothing but a big pile of horse crap.
That "thing" in the whitehouse?
Bitter?
The electorate was so angry after the past 8 years they voted in unprecedented numbers not seen in decades. And the popular vote was a margin of winning not seen in similar periods.
Get over it, and get out of the way.
let the hate, bigotry and racism continue:
Meanwhile, this from ABC:

Is our nation that immature?
Never mind. The 1st comment already answered that question.
its not often we see the kind of hate we've seen so much of lately. its even less often that we see hatred and disruptive non productive behavior over something so important to each and every person. any attempt at preventing people from hearing both sides is just not realistic. the upside is that those who haven't already will go find the truth for themselves and by then they will already have the knowledge of who tried to prevent them from finding out the truth.
I don't think it would matter who is President race or political party. The time as come and been a long time coming that our government can not keep running the way it has for many years. Rob Peter to pay Paul just doesn't work any more.
I have listened to Senator Spector at the town hall meetings. I just do not understand what is wrong with proactive medicine rather then reactive medicine. I guess I was just lucky that they found my cancer when they did! maybe it is because I have good insurance. Maybe some of the hardworking people that do not have or can't afford good insurance should be just left to die, I think not this is a great country and trying to protect our fellow citizens sounds good to me. Lets here all sides and do what is best for everybody.
If I have any say in how my very hard earned money is spent after the government collects it, then my first choice would be to assure that the very young, the very old and the very sick receive health care and preserve their dignity and their opportunities.
You can define me however you want.
I am a fiscally and socially conservative Republican who believes in a strong national defense and limited government.
But I do believe that our freedoms -- life, liberty and pursuit of happiness -- and our compassion as a people (and the studies that prove the economic wisdom of prevention when it comes to health problems) all speak in favor of we as a people taking care of those who need health care and cannot afford it under the current dynamic created by greed (by insurance companies, in particular) and by the sense of entitlement by some of those in the health care industry that they are "entitled" to five cars, three homes, their own airplane, and other excesses.
My prayer is that those who provide healing and care will be motivated and suitably rewarded by a concern to help others with their God-given skills.
I am sure that somebody out there will have some nasty label to define me, because that's easier than dealing with these complex and troubling issues for what they are.
Hey 4:35....not so fast. you are not exactly correct on either account.
First, Obama won by 5%. Go back decades and you can find many margins of victory greater than that.
Also as to turnout.....
"A new report from American University’s Center for the Study of the American Electorate concludes that voter turnout was the same in percentage terms as it was four years ago — or at most has risen by less than 1 percent."
"get out of the way".....of what?? socialized medicine??? couldn't agree more that something needs done, but poll after poll suggests that americans do not want what is currently being proposed. why is it so hard for our politicians to realize this.
The fiscally and socially conservative republican shouldn't apologize.
I'll bet there are a few more people around just like you. At one time their were alot more. Today the largest numbers are the ones claiming to be like you and failing miserably.
OBAMA LIED!!!
"I have not said that I was a 'single-payer' supporter." --President Barack Obama at a town hall meeting this week
"I happen to be a proponent of a single-payer universal health care program." --Obama in 2003
OBAMA LIED!!! Part II
"We have the AARP on board because they know this is a good deal for our seniors. ... AARP would not be endorsing a bill if it was undermining Medicare, okay?" --Barack Obama
Scratch that. AARP Chief Operating Officer Tom Nelson issued a statement saying, "While the President was correct that AARP will not endorse a health care reform bill that would reduce Medicare benefits, indications that we have endorsed any of the major health care reform bills currently under consideration in Congress are inaccurate."
This Week's 'Braying Jackass' Award
"UPS and FedEx are doing just fine, right? It's the Post Office that's always having problems." --Barack Obama, in a rare moment of truth-telling, arguing that a public option won't force private insurance out of business
So let's see: Government-run health care = the Post Office. And this is supposed to make us feel good about the idea?
The 'Death Panel'
Section 1233 of H.R. 3200, the health care bill, would give financial incentives to doctors to give Medicare patients end-of-life counseling every five years. Yet federal law prohibits Medicare from reimbursing for services "the purpose of which is to cause, or assist in causing," suicide, euthanasia or mercy killing. So why the ruckus over the section? Washington Post columnist Charles Lane explains, "Section 1233 ... addresses compassionate goals in disconcerting proximity to fiscal ones. Supporters protest that they're just trying to facilitate choice -- even if patients opt for expensive life-prolonging care. I think they protest too much: If it's all about obviating suffering, emotional or physical, what's it doing in a measure to 'bend the curve' on health-care costs?"
The consultations are not mandatory, but the financial incentive for doctors makes them not entirely voluntary, either. To some extent, Section 1233 also prescribes the content of the consultation. The doctor "shall" discuss such things as "advanced care planning, including key questions and considerations, important steps, and suggested people to talk to," "living wills and durable powers of attorney," and "a list of national and State-specific resources to assist consumers and their families." Asks Lane, "Who belongs on 'a list' of helpful 'resources'? The Roman Catholic Church? Jack Kevorkian?"
Furthermore, Obama health care adviser Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, brother to White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel, wrote, "When the worse-off can benefit only slightly while better-off people could benefit greatly, allocating to the better-off is often justifiable." Perhaps decided by a panel?
Due to the negative publicity, the Senate Finance Committee announced Thursday that the end-of-life consultation provision will be removed from its version of the bill, but if there is any doubt as to liberals' intention to introduce socialized medicine to America with all of its ugly consequences, Ronald Reagan put those doubts to rest in one particular radio broadcast.
It should bother and scar you Specter, you are on your way out!
Right along with each and every representative that votes "yes" for this piece of crap Mr. "O" is trying to pass! From every political party, because we tax paying citizens have had enough!
If Washington REALLY wanted to make sure each and every American could afford health care they would put a cap on the private health insurance companies! Regulate their pre-existing crap and make them toe the line, PERIOD.
Record breaking profits is what I have seen in the health insurance industry.
I stress American hard working tax payers, NOT ILLEGAL ALIENS!! They have put a huge burden on our medicare and social security systems and enough is enough!

Voter turnout for the 2008 election was the highest in at least 40 years.[1] citation included to actual numbers.
American University's Center for the Study of the American Electorate released a report on November 6, 2008, two days after the election, which concluded that the anticipated increase in turnout had failed to materialize.[179] That report was the basis for a number of news articles indicating that voter turnout failed to meet expectations.[182][183] When the remaining votes were counted after the release of the report, the total number of votes cast in the presidential election was raised to 131.2 million, which surpassed the American University report's preliminary estimate of 126.5 to 128.5 million voters by a factor of between 2% and 4%. Citations included with the raw data
Your citing incomplete data and a study that was later proven inaccurate.
Margin of victory: 53% to 45% Largest in 40 years.
The end of life counseling was introduced into the committee bill by Rep Johnny Isakson. A republican from Georgia.
I can't understand why you fools actually believe the lies and misinformation coming out of the likes of Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh.
You're being lied to. Wake up! Don't allow partisan hacks to think for you.
some one tell me what that thing in the whitehouse hasn,t lied about or what usefull thing he has done. oh i forgot he is trying to bankrupt the country with his and the rest of thr democrats spending.
The eight years of the Bush Administration bankrupted the country by giving the top one-percent of all Americans in income (all millionaires) MORE THAN FIFTY PERCENT of the tax relief.
The budget was balanced and in surplus under Clinton.
Then came Bush and the favoritism to the wealthy. He talked a good line as a fiscal conservative but his record shows otherwise. Couple that with the tax favoritism for the wealthy during that 8-year joy ride and it's no surprise where we were left as of January 2009 when his reign and the free-for-all by the super-rich began to start around on its last lap.
So who is surprised by where that left us? It will take a lot longer than eight months to clean up that mess.
This is a comment from a lifelong Republican, by the way.
The end of life provision or as some call it "The Dealth Panel".
A difference of opinion.
I've seen lots of protesting in the streets and at the townhall meetings, but wheres the townhall meetings and protests attended by those getting the tax breaks and best insurance for nothing.
The majority of people in coverage that I've seen are the middle class or people who've for some reason have decided to take their kids and grandparents out for a stroll.
I'd like to see coverage where the majority are dressed in suits and ties and have more to lose than you and I if what the protestors are saying is true.
Its usually those with the most to lose that take to the streets in protest.
7:28....dude, your citing from wikipedia. not exactly legitimate authority.
federal election commission on august 9th (last week) reported 52% - 46%.
Reagan v Mondale
Bush v Dukakis
Clinton v Dole
Clinton v Bush
all 6% or more. only going back 2 decades.
I see the liberals are sticking up for their choice in the Whitehouse. Give it some time and you will see where your experiment puts the country. Instead of health care reform he should start with Welfare/SSI reform. Think of all the billions of dollars that could be saved here. Does the average hard working tax payer realize how good the Welfare Rats have it? Free health care, free or almost free rent (HUD), food allowance, cash assistance and the best one is welfare buys them a car if they claim they want to look for a job. It must be nice to get paid to sit home and watch TV all day. I actually heard a Reliefer complain she had to pay $1 for a prescription at Buchanan’s Pharmacy. If I wasn’t there to hear it I wouldn’t believe it. We work to support the lazy scum of the country from the cradle to the grave and I’m sick of it. Welfare should be a limited hand up not an expected hand out. I say limit it to a couple years. If they don’t want to find a job in that time let them starve to death. There is my take on what needs reformed.
Our country has had hatred for decades. There were massive protests throughout the 60's and more recently there were attacks against George W. Bush. He was compared frequently to Hitler and movies and books were published about his assassination. People at this juncture feel that BOTH parties are out of control and are ignoring their constituents and bankrupting this country.
About the person who says that Beck and Limbaugh are lying. I would like to see the lies to which you refer. Beck especially gives sources to his facts.
Go back and read the Declaration of Independence. For that matter read the HISTORY of that time if you want to see anger and hate. Then move on to the Civil War. WE are a passionate people of many different backgrounds. We are unique in the world of having a successful representative republic. With God's grace and the will of the people our country will continue and not be dragged into a socialist republic.
I have lived in a country with socialized medicine and IT WORKED for me! People are afraid of what they have never experienced. Let our President do his job. President Bush's messes won't be cleaned up overnight either, by the way.
I guess there are quit a few tax payers that have missed something here...I am tired of hearing Mr "O" tell us about the debt he "inherited", are you kidding me? He has Quadrupled it in less that 6 months!
And he used a huge amount of it bailing out the greedy, remember that!
I dare think we are at the point in our country that there are not enough of us hard working tax payers left to pay all the tax money needed to cover the salaries & benefits of our politicians as well as the welfare receivers along with the illegal aliens!
It doesn't matter how much the deficit is or how much he inherited or even how much he has spent, b3ecause the country revolves around "virtual" money anyways. How can we keep printing money, spending money and whatnot when there is no collateral to back it up? Do you people think there is really trillions of dollars worth of gold in fort knox? We no longer have leaders in our government, we have very skilled "accountants" that keep shuffling the figures around using a "projection" of what the future tax revenue will be.
John Q Public, you are so right!
Me and my husband were just talking about this very thing! We do not have a trillion dollars worth of gold in Fort Knox that is why we have a deficit!
What about debt to income rules the rest of us have to abide by when we what to finance or borrow?
Guess the Federal government is above and beyond what we "working" people have to live by!
The current public outcry has NOTHING to do with race...thats an excuse card being played by the liberal media. There was no mandate in this last election, President Obama did not run on a tax and spend platform. He has proven in VERY short order to be nothing more than a tax and spend liberal puppet..the mainstream media has treated him with kit gloves and idolized his every move, while the avg businessperson and taxpayer are ready to boil over from the wasteful govt spending of ALL levels of govt. that has been accelerated under this administration...time for REAL change, people are fed up and our great nation is broke. To suggest that Govt, especially the Fed will effectively or efficiently manage ANY health care program is ludicrous..thats a fact supported by decades of wasteful spending in every dept. People voted for and want change REAL change, not skin color, not republican and democrat partisan politics....CHANGE! The promises made during the campaign were about HOPE...what has been delivered is shameful, HOPELESS bureacratic spending! I say shame on the republicans for being selfish and self serving during their years, and shame on the democrats for the same old... same old.. TAX and SPEND..I say people are fed up, mad as hell and not going to take it any more! The liberal spin now is, the complaints arent real, nor representative of what people are really saying....WOW....look out, I say fits gonna hit the shan!!
2:04...you are sooooo right!
