Emporium Boro Crash
Troopers at Emporium investigated a 2 car accident at the intersection of Pine Street and East Allegany Avenue in Emporium Borough on Tuesday morning at 10:40 am.
The crash occurred when Kevin Eckenroad, 18, of Emporium failed to yield his 1995 Buick LeSabre to a 1997 Ford Explorer driven by Mary L. Rodich, 84, of Emporium, PA.
Eckenroad's Buick struck the Explorer in the left front fender/ wheel area. Both vehicles came to rest on East Allegany Avenue prior to being removed from the highway. Neither driver was injured.
Eckenroad will be cited for Failing to Yield through District Court 59-3-01. Further investigation is continuing according to troopers.
