BRIDGE REHABILITATION WORK WILL CLOSE ROUTE 4017 (SUNNYSIDE ROAD), STARTING SEPTEMBER 14
Detour in place for about 2 weeks
CLEARFIED – Work will begin Monday, September 14 to rehabilitate a bridge along Route 4017 (Sunnyside Road) in Sharon Township, Potter County. Route 4017 will be closed during the work and a 2-week detour will be in place. The detour will use Route 4017( Sunnyside Road/Shaytown Road), Route 1009 (Bell Run Road) in McKean County and Route 44. Detour signs will be in place and all work is weather dependent.
This project will include abutment and wing wall repairs, beam repairs and deck replacement. Potter County PennDOT Maintenance forces will perform the work.
PennDOT reminds drivers to move through all work zones with caution, follow all detour signs and always buckle up. For more information on roadway construction and maintenance operations, visit PennDOT’s website at www.dot.state.pa.us.

Wow, you go Prez.O....can't wait to see all the extra people hired to fix the bridge. That was his speech last spring. Building roads and repairing bridges will help fix the unemployment problem.
I've researched the PennDOT site up and down back and forth and can't find any info on this closure. Could you put the full link on here? thanks.
Technology must be getting better it only took 1 week to build it. 2 weeks to repair. Now that the trucks sleep six you would think they could do some shift work.
