Car Hit Deer
An Emporium couple were not injured when their car hit a deer on Route 872 near the Heth Road in Homer Township at 7:15 AM on Thursday according to Pennsylvania State Police.
Harold D. Losey, 84, and his passenger, Denise L. Losey, of Emporium, PA, were traveling north in a 2007 Buick Lucerne when a deer entered the roadway fron the east side of the road. Losey was unable to avoid hitting the deer which was killed in the crash. The Loseys were wearing seat belts and were not hurt.
