As I was coming home from work, I saw them pull the truck out. It was a white F150 with teal on the bottom...extended cab. It was a terrible sight. I pray for all those involved in this tragedy.

Why put this information on here before thw family is advised of what has happened. What is heard on the scanner is not to be public, until released by the investigators. This is terrible.

There's no names on here or anything and if it's on the scanner obviously the public can hear it.

If what was heard on the scanner was not to be public...then why can people have scanners in their home? DUH... No names are on here and how do you know the family hasn't been notified? AND... it wasn't heard on the scanner anyways...it was eyewitness you jack ass!

Anonymous 6:03... Ever heard of the power of prayer. SOME people want to know so that they can pray for those affected... Don't be a hater... It is of good intention... Interesting that you...don't want things put on here... but yet...you obviously looked up the information for yourself on here. Interesting!

I was concerned because I might have had a member of my family comming in that direction. I could have contacted them on the cell phone. I had to turn around at the scene or wait a long time. It's good to post it. Keep up the good work Jim.

A Lewis Run woman died in a one vehicle accident Monday afternoon on Barnum Road in the Town of Olean.

46 year-old Tekla Hallock, a passenger in a pickup truck driven by 46 year-old Bruce Hallock, was pronounced dead upon arrival at Olean General Hospital.

Cattaraugus County Sheriff Deputies say the truck went off the road, down an embankment and struck a tree. Bruce Hallock was transported to Olean General Hospital for treatment of injuries.

An accident reconstruction team was called in to investigate the crash.
