Wellsboro ends order to boil water

WELLSBORO - The boil water order that has been in effect for about a month in Wellsboro was lifted early Thursday morning.
According to Sue Keck, borough secretary and treasurer, the state Department of Environmental Protection authorized the lift, as the organization conducted two tests within 48 hours that fell below a turbidity level of 0.7 at the Park Hill Reservoir.
The water now is considered safe for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes and food preparation, she said. More...

i was told to keep boiling it until next summer. i still see little floaters in it. Sue Keck doesnt know what she is talking about.
