U.S. Marshals capture West Virginia fugitive in Bradford County

Acting U.S. Marshal Martin J. Pane announced Friday that the U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) arrested Tony Ray Ford in Warren Center, Bradford County, Pennsylvania.
Ford had been sought by West Virginia authorities for an incident in November 2009. It is alleged Ford engaged in the sexual abuse of a 4-year old female. The West Virginia State Police conducted the investigation.
As a result, an arrest warrant was issued in Marion County, W.Va. on Oct. 4, 2010, charging Ford with sexual abuse in the first degree.
In addition to the fugitive warrant from West Virginia, Ford was also being sought by the McKean County Sheriff's Office in Smethport, Pennsylvania. On Nov. 13, 2008, an arrest warrant was issued, charging Ford with criminal trespass - breaking into a structure.
Ford was also being sought by the Bradford, Pa., Police Department on a warrant dated Dec. 18, 2008. He was charged with making a false report to law enforcement. More...
