Free Book On Debt Relief

We have had a lot of questions regarding debt management and bankruptcy from people in Potter, McKean, Tioga, Cameron, and Clinton Counties. We have also seen a number of people who have been taken advantage of by debt consolidation schemes or unfair collection practices.

In response, we sat down as a law firm and decided to put together a book that we could make available to people who are struggling with debt. I am happy to announce that the book is now available to be downloaded for free from our web site under the bankruptcy page. Our hope is that the information will help people to realize that there are legitimate tools available to help them to get a fresh start in life.

Ross & Ross, LLC

Ross & Ross helped us through a bankruptcy. Despite the cost, they were invaluable to helping us get a fresh start with our finances.

I encourage people to check out their resources!

Send one of those books to Washington, DC. The government needs to know how to manage money.

We as a family want to run our household, and we use our money to do so. (Well, most of us do.) Now, don't you think it only fair that DC should use their own money to run the government? (As well as the States, Counties, Townships, Boros and such.)

Bankruptcy should be the last resort because what it really amounts to is screwing the people who trusted you. It's sad when it is encouraged by some people. It's a little like these sleazy lawyers that brag in their TV ads that they'll help you NOT pay your federal taxes by "settling" with the IRS. In other words, you'll make the rest of us pay more and put a fad wad of money in the lawyers' pocket at the same time.

Wah! Wah! Wah!....People on here crying about everything gets old. Some people have had financial problems in their lives through no fault of their own(divorce, job loss etc.)Some of us have tried hard to do the right things in life and still get screwed. Give us a break.

I think that was the Prez's dissaproval rating.

There was a lot of things I would have like to have had in my life time, but passed on it because I didn’t want to run up a debt I couldn’t afford.
Credit cards maybe nice for some people, but look at the number of people who used them and got in over their heads.
If you cannot afford it, live without it. You’ll survive just fine. So what if Johnny or Joanne have it. It doesn’t make them any better than you.
You can pay Cash for 90% of what you want. If you can’t, than you don’t really need it.

Remember years ago before government got really greedy and you could deduct all the intrest you paid on your credit cards off of your income taxes?
