Did this Board approve the taxpayer grant to the Coudersport Boys and Girls Club (notice how it is Coudersport only club)?
I am bringing this up because my support for it was based on the idea that it would be donations, volunteers, churches, institutional donations and so on.
Then without any public scrutiny there was a branch of Human Services that pumped something ike $45,000 in TAXPAYER money to it.
I want to know who approved that, why the whole foundation of the project changed, and why wasn't the public informed about it until after it happened?
It was sneaky and it takes away from the worthy mission of doing something without the government having to prop it up in Obama-like fashion.

The best way to find out would be to call them Tuesday. Remember Monday is a Holiday and there will be nobody there to answer the phone.

these meetings are open to the public. attend. this is also an invatation to the media. can't imagine the press having any interest in what may be of importance to the taxpayers though. the admr and directors of various offices under his direction are pretty clever when it comes to spending our money. you just may find out more than what any minutes would ever reveal just by attending - and don't forget your tape recorder! Ask questions and demand answers - not just lip service. the admr is good with the lipshit.

The Human Services Advisory Committee had nothing to do with the "taxpayer bailout" of the Coudersport Boys and Girls Club. There was a report in one of the local newspapers about this and it was a grant by an organization called the Children's Integrated Services Commission or something like that. Somebody wrote on here that the Boys/Girls Club was operating only on private donations and volunteers. This is blatantly false. Where do you think the money for the grant came from? Also is that a one year grant or does it get renewed later this year when it runs out? Who votes on it?
