S. W. Smith Library's STORY HOUR
Preschoolers, ages 3 yrs. & up, are invited to The S. W. Smith Library Story Hour, which will be held on Wednesdays from 10 - 11 a.m., February 1 - April 4, 2012
Story Hour is a free program of read-aloud stories, puppets and other fun activities. If your child would like to attend, stop in the Library at 22 Church Street, Port Allegany or call 642-9210.

ya know what I would be more pleased if you were fighting for a bill to drug test EVERY person and child receiving and applying for public assistance ! I have to be tested before EVERY JOB and I have to be clean to go to WORK to support WELFARE why should they not have to be clean to receive it ? Then SURPRISE them with SPOT CHECKS just like WE are when we are working to pay for there BENEFITS !!!! PLEASE ADDRESS THIS ..

You seem to feel "staying clean" is a challenge. Hang in there buddy!
Some people don't have a choice. Many are single parents,others may be on public assistance because their unemployment ran out and they can't find work.
It seems that if I was to do drugs, beat women, have under age sex, kill someone then I could get all the free stuff that I want and never have to work.
All we ask is that people wanting help be required the same requirement (drug testing) that we endue to try and earn a living.
After 30 years of employment in my field and paying into Unemployment Insurance that entire 30+ years I find myself unemployed.
Drug test me? After paying for this insurance for 30 god damned years? You have the ARROGANCE to assume I do this because it's FUN.
Screw drug testing unemployment recipients. We should be drug testing the moronic legislators that created an environment where labor is treated like a bastard step child.
