Girl Scout Brownie and Daisy Troop #21980 members braved the cold winds Saturday to sell Girl Scout cookies at Sheetz in Coudersport. Jaden Studer is shown, complete with red nose & cheeks, doing her part in the annual cookie sale effort.

Elk County 911/ Emergency Services moved into their new quarters Wednesday and settled in with a busy day on Thursday. Ribbon cutting for the new 911 Center on Montmorenci will be on March 19, 2012, at 1400 hours. An open house will be held in April for those who would like to tour the Center. At 6:38 pm on Wednesday, Coudersport Ambulance & Medic 6 have been dispatched to Maple View Lane to assist a fall victim with a medical emergency.
