Why does the P. I. A. A. have such a ridiculous policy about banners at playoff games? The Cameron County Lady Raiders fans had a banner that had the girl's names on it and the dildine good luck wish with the shamrock and the P. I. A. A. person made them take it down. That hurts a teams' moral and is not fair to the fans as the dildine banner has been allowed all season long and then you get to the playoffs and they say no.

rules are rules.. the girls were out coached.. sorry to see it but one an out is still one and out...

ya having to take the banner down must be the reason they lost they lost all their team moral.

Funny thing is when Coudersport varsity baseball team took it's dildine banner to Emporium for a playoff game the guy who runs the park (Feebig) confiscated it. So looks like Cameron County got a dose of it's own medicine. The art students put a lot of work into that baseball banner and my daughter was crying when he took it away and would not give it back. What goes around comes around.

Mr. Sullivan should have known your not allowed banners etc. at Playoff games ! Alway's been the rule! I doubt however if that determined the outcome, LOL!

It was just the Cameron County fans having fun chanting dildine dildine and waving the banner with the shamrock. They were not hurting anybody. It is not the coach's job to worry about something like that. Why not let the kids have their fun? The players were used to hearing that cheer and it was taken away from them. That is probably why they lost. At leased the Lady Raider coach doesn't badger and yell at his girls and roll his eyes in a condessending way that makes them feel like they're worthless. Good season Lady Raiders and keep the shamrock and dildine banner for next year!

Play by the rules, where have we heard this before? The PIAA has rules in place that include no artificial noise makers, no banners and no cheerleaders standing while the contest is in progress. Kind of simple, follow the rules or pay the consequences. Without rules you have a WWE event. Congrats to both teams on their very good seasons.
