Girl Scout Brownie and Daisy Troop #21980 members braved the cold winds Saturday to sell Girl Scout cookies at Sheetz in Coudersport. Jaden Studer is shown, complete with red nose & cheeks, doing her part in the annual cookie sale effort.

Elk County 911/ Emergency Services moved into their new quarters Wednesday and settled in with a busy day on Thursday. Ribbon cutting for the new 911 Center on Montmorenci will be on March 19, 2012, at 1400 hours. An open house will be held in April for those who would like to tour the Center. Port Allegany Youth Baseball Association Registrations Friday & Saturday

The Port Allegany Youth Baseball Association
(PAYBA) will be holding registrations on Friday, February 3, 2012 from 6-8 pm and Saturday, February 4, 2012 from 10 am to Noon at the Port Allegany Elementary School.


Registration is open to all children ages 5-16 in the Port Allegany School District who wish to participate in T-Ball, Little League Baseball, Babe Ruth Baseball, and Girls’ Softball programs.

The fees are as follows: $15 per player for T-Ball, $20 per player for Little League Baseball and Softball, and $25 per player for Babe Ruth.
