Winter Nature Photography Workshop at Sinnemahoning
Winter photography is challenging but rewarding when we understand the correct methods. In this 5-hour workshop at the new Sinnemahoning State Park Visitor Center, we learn to expose and compose for wall hanging photographs. We spend an hour indoors for some understandable “tech talk,” followed by a nearby fieldtrip to interesting locations. After returning inside, discussion and critique follows for the remainder of the class.
What to bring – Essential: Proper clothing for winter, including gloves and boots. Plan ahead for variable weather; Lunch and water bottle for a half-hour lunch break; Camera with memory card. Please be familiar with your camera and settings. Optional: Tripod, polarizing filter.
This course is being held on Saturday, February 18, 2012 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Sinnemahoning State Park Visitor Center. The cost is $70 per person. To register, call 814-545-1333 or visit our website at www.pottercountyedcouncil.org.
