DUI/Act 64 charges will be filed in District Court 55-4-01 after a Genesee man was found sitting along side of the road in physical control of his automobile.
Dustin A. Kio, 26, of 1741 Grover Hollow Road in Genesee, PA, was found by Trooper Bryan Uhl to be DUI with a controlled substance in his automobile at the intersection of Wintergreen Road and Hickox-Ulysses Road in Genesee Township at 7:38 PM on May 24, 2012.Police said he had drug paraphernalia and drugs in his possession. The drugs and drug paraphernalia were seized.
Kio was taken into custody without incident.

How can you say "poor kid" when his actions have gotten him to this place in his life. He apparently did not learn from his first accident and all I can say is thank God he hasn't hurt anyone else yet, maybe a stay in jail will straighten him up and get him on the right path. I will say I feel sorry for his parents, they certainly don't deserve what he has put them through.

ive known dustin almost my whole life, but at the same token maybe he should have thought about the accomidations at the PC jail prior to driving drunk and doing drugs? so JUST SAYING

He needs to go to jail before he hurts someone wheelchair bound or not. He has been given plenty of chances to change his life. And for calling him a poor kid...He is 26 freaking years old. That is not a kid. His drug use is what put him in a wheelchair in the first place. I'm sick and tired of people making excuses for people like Dustin Kio. Let the other prisoners carry him up and down stairs....
