Lloyd M. McCutcheon, 78, of Galeton, PA

Lloyd M. McCutcheon, 78, of Galeton, PA, formerly of Dryden, NY, passed away Thursday, October 18, 2012, at Charles Cole Memorial Hospital, Coudersport, PA. 

Born January, 16, 1934, in Harrison Valley, PA, he was a son of the late Howard and Louise (Hemmons) McCutcheon. 

Lloyd was a Veteran of the Korean War, having served in the United States Army. After his time in the service, he was a pipeline inspector who had worked in every state besides Arizona and Alaska. 

Lloyd was a Lifetime member of the Galeton V.F.W., a member of the Galeton Moose, and a past member of the Goodyear Hose Company. He greatly enjoyed hunting, fishing and boating. 

Lloyd is survived by his companion of 17 years, Sherry Bullock, Dryden, NY; two daughters, Machelle Y. (Dorr) Smith, Wilkes-Barre, PA, and Sandra (Joe) Cimino, Galeton; three grandchildren, Adriane Y. Cimino and Joey Cimino, both of Galeton, and Andrew D. Smith, U.S. Air Force, N.J. a brother, Lynn (Sharon) McCutcheon, Harford, NY; a sister, Janice Reynolds, Harrison Valley; and several nieces and nephews. 

Lloyd was predeceased by a son, Dirk M. McCutcheon, and a sister, Carol Elliot. A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at 11:00am at the West Hill Cemetery in Galeton. Pastor Skeet Keaton will officiate. 

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Goodyear Hose Company or to Wounded Soldiers. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Hess Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Collins Chapel, Galeton.
