Woman Admits to Robbing Bank
The woman who robbed an Allegany Bank on the Friday of Memorial Day weekend has pleaded guilty in Cattaraugus County Court.
At around 11:15 on the morning of May 25 27-year-old Katherine Hayes handed a teller at Community Bank a note demanding money and got away with more than $3,000. Police caught up with her and arrested her that night.
She will be sentenced on February 11 on charges of robbery and grand larceny.
