Ardath M. Tucker, 85, a longtime resident of Coudersport and Roulette, PA

Ardath M. Tucker, 85, a longtime resident of Coudersport and Roulette, died Sunday, November 25, 2012 at Sweden Valley Manor in Coudersport.

Born on March 17, 1927 in Port Allegany, PA she was the daughter of Leland and Anna Lyman Murphy. On November 29, 1960 she married Robert “Brother Bob” Tucker, who died on April 3, 2004.

Mrs. Tucker was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Coudersport. She loved to clean and shop.

Surviving are two daughters, Cindy (Ed) Daugherty of Port Allegany, PA and Teri Briggs of Virginia Beach, VA, one son, Thomas (Linda) Pesock of Coudersport, two step-daughters, Susie Tucker of Andrews Settlement, PA and Mindy Tucker of Florida, one step-son, Michael (Susan) Tucker of Olean, NY, seven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two daughters, Susie Wood and Sandra “Sissy” Ahearn, three sisters and one brother.

Friends are invited to attend Mrs. Tucker’s Life Celebration beginning Wednesday, November 28, 2012 with visitation from 6-8pm at the Fickinger Funeral Home of Coudersport. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 1:00pm Thursday with the Reverend David Minor Sr. officiating. Burial will be in Hill Cemetery in Roulette, PA.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Sweden Valley Manor Activities Fund, 1028 E. Second St., Coudersport, PA 16915.
