Body Recovered In Kinzua/Search to Continue For 2nd Victim

Searchers have recovered the body of an accidental drowning victim Sunday at the Kinzua Dam in McKean County.

Trooper Mary Gausman of the Kane PSP barracks, said the incident happened at approximately 11:30 am when a canoe overturned in the Kinzua Reservoir.

One body has been recovered and the search for a second individual will resume Monday morning. The investigation is continuing. No other details were released Sunday evening.

GoErie.com  reports: A woman was recovered between 1 and 2 p.m., McKean County Chief Deputy Coroner Sam Cummings said. Her name and age are being withheld until the body of a man who was with her is recovered, Cummings said.
