A house fire that was first dispatched at 5:16 am as a small-non-dwelling fire, apparently a garage or shed, spread to an occupied house adjacent to it and reportedly destroyed the residence.
A family of four was able to get out of the residence safely. The fire was located at 4719 Route 219 in Horton Township, in the Brockport area. Route 219 was closed for several hours, but is now re-opened at the scene. A fire marshal is investigating. The Red Cross is assisting the family.
