Choral Christmas Concert

The Coudersport choral group, NORTH COUNTRY VOICES will be presenting a Choral Christmas Concert O Holy Child on Sunday December 2, 2012 at 3:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church, Fourth Street in Coudersport. 

Musical selections will include several contemporary Christmas songs such as “Immanuel” by Michael Card, “Breath of Heaven” by Amy Grant, and “Mary, Did You Know?” by Mark Lowry and Buddy Greene. In addition traditional carols such as “God Rest You Merry Gentlemen”, “Sleigh Ride” by Leroy Anderson, A Rhapsody of Christmas which is a medley of “O Holy Night”, “Angels We Have Heard On High”, “What Child Is This?” and “Silent Night” will be presented. 

There will be a Christmas Carol Sing-a-long inviting audience participation.
Members of the North Country Voices include Anne Acker, Marcy Barnett, Ted Bear, Alice Buchanan, Barbara Busch, Donald Comes, Gary Doyle, Aleisha Greeley, Amanda Hershey, Rose Hershey, Darrel Justh, Mary Justh, Joseph Kellert, Kathy Mitchell, Ann Myers, Valery Robbins, Stephen Sevinsky, John Sherer, Bob Smith, Gretchen Songster, Linda Todd, Betty Wallace, and Rosemary Wells. Also performing are percussionist Steve Russell, piano accompanist Anne McCleary, and director Gloria Richardson.

You are cordially invited to attend a most enjoyable and a delightful afternoon of music. A free will offering will be graciously accepted to help support the efforts of the chorus and light refreshments will follow the program.
