Cutting Edge Gymnastics

Last weekend, Cutting Edge Gymnastics of Coudersport traveled to Butler for the Alex Summer’s Invitational, a USAG private club competition. Twenty-one gymnasts from Levels 3-5 and Novice Prep Optional represented Cutting Edge Gymnastics. This was the first traveling competitive event for Cutting Edge this season. Cutting Edge turned in a solid performance as they brought home 80 medals. 

Seven year old Selin Sumer led the level 3 Team as she had a clean sweep taking 1st on all events and in the All Arounnds. Ten year old Mikayla Gunn was also a top competitor for level 3 as she took 1st on 3 events and in the All Around.

Cutting Edge had 11 gymnasts place in the top 3 in the All Around division: Level 3: Selin Sumer-34.70-1st, Laci Miller-31.90-2nd, Lauryn Potter-32.00-2nd, Mikayla Gunn-32.45-1st, Madison Preston-30.55-3rd, Arianna Waterman-30.80-2nd, Level 4: Autumn Gagliardo-29.65-3rd, Torrie Foy-32.75-2nd, Jordan Brewer-33.25-1st, Joplin Osgood-28.40-3rd, Level 5: Madison Miller-30.65-3rd. 

Winning 1st in individual events were: Vault: Selin Sumer-9.20, Mikayla Gunn-8.90, Kaylee Boyd-9.10, Joplin Osgood-9.25, Bars: Selin Sumer-7.95, Taylor Brewer-6.25, Jordan Brewer-8.50, Beam: Selin Sumer-9.0, Lauryn Potter-8.40, Mikayla Gunn-8.85, Joplin Osgood-8.55, Floor-Selin Sumer-8.55, Mikayla Gunn-8.85, Torrie Foy-8.65.

Cutting Edge Gymnastics added 4 gymnasts to their 9.0 Club for the Butler Invitational: Laci Miller, Selin Sumer, Kaylee Boyd, and Joplin Osgood. Level 3 Selin Sumer was also added to the 34 All Around Club.
