Emma Christine Warren, 95, of Smethport, PA

Emma Christine Warren, 95, of Smethport, died Tuesday (November 20, 2012) in the Lakeview Senior Care & Living Ctr., Smethport, with her loving niece, Bonnie and her husband Bud Abbey, and good friend, Sandy Kaziska, by her bedside.

She was born April 18, 1917 in Bradford, a daughter of Aaron and Anna Sheridan Eckstrom. On February 16, 1946, in Warren, PA, she married Harold Warren, who died August 29, 1998.


Mrs. Warren was employed by R.W. Herzog Co., now Patch Products, Smethport, producing toys.


She was one of the oldest living members of the Regular Baptist Church of Smethport and was a very Religious and devoted Christian woman.


Besides her niece Bonnie (Bud) Abbey, she is survived by several nieces and nephews.


In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Howard R. Warren on Oct. 14, 1991.


Visitation will be held on Friday from 5-7pm at Hartle-Tarbox Funeral Homes, Inc., 2 Bank St., Smethport, PA. Funeral and committal services will be held on Saturday, November 24 at 11:00 am from the Hartle-Tarbox Funeral Homes, Inc., Smethport, with the Rev. Max Simms, pastor of the Hilltop Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Smethport.

I will always remember Emma and her sister Sarah when I was growing up and going to the Baptist Church, What Sweet Women they were,
