Empereon Adds Employees; More Jobs Opening
Empereon
Marketing, a customer contact center in Coudersport, has hired close to
50 new employees since October. Workforce now stands at about 120,
twenty of whom are in management positions. Workforce recruiter Mike
Roche reports that more jobs are open and as many as 50 new ones will be
created soon. A monthly open interview process allows for hiring of new
workers on the spot. Empereon also has an online application system and
an incentive program for current employees who make successful
referrals. No customer service or sales experience is needed for most of
the jobs, since the company provides training. Health insurance kicks
in after 90 days of service. There is also a performance bonus that can
substantially increase pay. Most workers make outbound calls, but some accept inbound customer service inquiries and provide technical support. Empereon, based in Phoenix, Ariz., is an outsourcer handling customer contacts for cable giants Cox, Time Warner and Charter, as well as satellite TV providers and major media chains. The company moved into the former Adelphia “Tennis Center” after that building was donated to the Potter County Redevelopment Authority by Time Warner Cable.
