EMS Units have located a 67 year old man who fell in the woods and suffered a leg injury.
Emergency responders were first sent to a location near 494 Castle Garden Road at 11:34 am and subsequently dispatched to the area of 3763 Mason Hill Road in Gibson Township. Fire Dept. personnel were activated at 12:09 PM to assist EMS in locating and retrieving the man from the woods.
At 12:52PM, patient contact has been made. A six wheeler is bringing a stokes basket and rope to the scene and will return to bring additional personnel to the scene as the patient is reported down over an embankment. Rescuers have also called for a chainsaw.
CAMERON CO 16 FD CAMERON FD 14, EMPORIUM AMBULANCE, SINNEMAHONING AMBULANCE ARE ALL INVOLVED IN THE RESCUE OPERATION.
AT 2:00 PM--CHIEF ON SCENE REQUESTS ADDITIONAL MANPOWER TO SCENE TO HELP GET MAN OUT OF THE WOODS.
