I'm glad that this is coming out one day before the festival! Funny how all the surrounding communities have taken the time to publicize their upcoming events in a timely manner. It is no wonder that every year this event gets worse and worse with attendance and participation. I love Coudersport Chamber of Commerce!!

You should be thankfull at least Coudersport is doing something ! Austin has quit doing almost everything! No decorated trees just a few crappy lights on poles. Sad!

Post 10:29, instead of complaining, why don't you get off your dead A-- & volunteer to help decorate a tree or two, or the Gazebo. The Get Together Club put up the trees & decorated them for years ,along with The Community That Cares Club, & volunteer Johnny Rotello. Maybe it's time for a few other people, like you, to take your time & ambition to decorate the town. F.Y.I., The Get Together Club are mostly in their late 70's & 80's. Why doesn't the school do something? They have such a Fab Art Teacher. Oh never mind, she doesn't live here. Stop running down Austin & DO SOMETHING!!!

FYI You might want to watch who you call (volunteers). Most of the time you will find out nothing is free! As far as the school they do nothing for the town just like all the other so called community clubs that want your donations! After 30 or so years of trying (or should i say fighting)to make the town a better place most give up!

Hey TAX PAYER I did get a tree!! That's why I'm irritated that it is the day before the event and my kid has put hours into preparations and because the Chamber didn't get of their $%@&# and put the announcement in sooner, it will probably again this year be a low attendance. I do my part. It would be nice if everyone put a little bit more effort into doing these events. Coudersport used to have Midnight Madness and all the shops used to stay open and there was an effort put in to keeping business locate and celebrating as a town! For those of you lucky enough to know who Tom Ginattesso was, RIP, he worked hard putting evenings like this together for the love of the town. Not sitting on his rear waiting for people to do it. Hey TAX PAYER, why don't YOU do something more than complain on here about what I have to say! Merry Christmas - Hope you enjoy watching tomorrow night!
