Maxine Harrison and Barbara Welfling dress up to march in Galeton Christmas in a Small Town parade. In honor of the work that suffragettes did to get women the vote ( and Business and Professional Women's organizations are a direct result of that movement) they marched with the BPW banner and then sold Holiday Christmas raffle tickets in Collin's Park before the GLOW fireworks display. 

 Raffle tickets are still available by calling Barbara Welfling at 435-6616. They are also available at the Galeton Library and from BPW members. Prizes are $100. gift cards from Nittany Mini Mart, Wal-Mart and Cabelas, Spa gift basket from Mary Kay and one also from Starlight Video, $25 gift certificate from the Log Cabin Restaurant and also from Lakeview Cinema as well as 3 beautifully decorated holiday wreaths. 

The drawing will be on December 9th and you need not be present to win. Tickets are $5.00 each or 5 for $20. Proceeds benefit the Galeton Senior Girl Scholarship fund.
