Gloria Jean Lewandowski, 60, of Port Allegany, PA

Gloria Jean Lewandowski, 60, of Port Allegany, died Monday (November 5, 2012) at her residence in Port Allegany.

She was born May 24, 1952 in Sayre, PA, a daughter of Raymond J. and Marie E. Smith Lewandowski.

Miss Lewandowski was a 1970 graduate of Bishop Kenrick High School in Norristown, PA.

She worked as a painting contractor painting houses and commercial properties. She was also employed at the former Fireside Inn and Canoe Place Inn.

She was a member of St Gabriel's Church. She loved movies, animals, and enjoyed spending time with her friends and family and had a special fondness for all the younger family members, especially her God children, Tonia, Daniel and Alex.

She is survived by
three sisters: Helen (Dr. Edwin) Schott and Carolyn Forlani, both of Port Allegany, and Bridget (Mark) Pastorius of Norristown, PA
one brother: Ray (Charlene) Lewandowski of Norristown, PA
nieces and nephews: Tonia, Joseph, Nicole, Daniel, Michael, Estera, Jenna, Andrew, and Richard
She was especially fond of her great nieces and nephews: Charlie, Olivia, Alex, Evan, Spencer, Morgaine, Ronin, and Gavin

She was preceded in death by her parents.

There will be no visitation. A Mass of Christian burial will be said on Friday, Nov.9, at 1 P.M., in St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church, Port Allegany, with the Rev. James Campbell, pastor as officiant. Burial will be in St. Gabriel’s Cemetery, Port Allegany.
