Jean A. Sutley, 82, of 9 Edwards Street, formerly of South Kendall Ave

Jean A. Sutley, 82, of 9 Edwards Street, formerly of South Kendall Ave, passed away, Saturday, November 10th, at the Bradford Manor surrounded by her loving family at her side.

Born July 2, 1930, in Bradford, she a daughter of the late Thomas and Lorene (Higgins) Moonan.

On November 23, 1948 in Allegany, NY she married Max B. Sutley, Jr. who died August 25, 1993.

Mrs. Sutley attended Bradford Schools. She volunteered for the Crippled Children's Clinic of Bradford and received the "Brace for an Ace Pin", and was a former volunteer at the Bradford Manor and Bradford Senior Center.

She was a former member of the Hill United Methodist Church and a member of the First United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Sutley was a member of the former Bradford Moose Lodge Auxiliary #124, member of the VFW, Auxiliary and a former member of the Rebecca Lodge #118.

Surviving are three children, a daughter, Ruth (James) Wagner, two sons Thomas (Donna) Sutley, and James Sutley, all of Bradford, a sister, Ardis (the late James) Kelley, of Bradford, one brother, Bob (the late Donna) Moonan, of Bradford, four grandsons, James Wagner, Matt Wagner, Scott Wagner and Max Sutley, two great grandsons, Darian Wagner and Loghan Wagner three great granddaughters, Jordon Wagner, Victoria Wagner and Adyson Wagner, her companion of several years Donald Smith, and several nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two brothers Charles Moonan and Raymond Moonan.

Family will be receiving friends on Wednesday, November 14, 2012, from 11:00 to Noon in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc., East Main Street, where funeral and committal services will be held at noon with Rev. Tom Verner pastor of the First United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in McKean Memorial Park.

Memorials, if desired, may be made to charity of the donor's choice.
