Tim Walck Photography & Olga's Team Up For Sandy Relief

Hurricane Sandy benefits Saturday At Olga's Cafe

A Coudersport musician and photographer is using his twin skills for a pair of benefits on Saturday (Nov. 10) to help victims of Hurricane Sandy on the East Coast.

Tim Walck is working with a church in Binghamton, NY, to distribute goods to charitable distribution centers in New Jersey and Long Island, NY.

In cooperation with Olga’s Gallery, Cafe & Bistro in downtown Coudersport, Walck will hold a benefit photo shoot from 11 am to 5 pm. For each item that’s donated, he’ll take a professional picture – such as a holiday portrait – that can be downloaded free from a website. Print orders will also be taken, with proceeds being donated to Hurricane Sandy relief.

Walck will then trade his camera for a saxophone and return to Olga’s on Saturday evening from 7 to 10 for a gig with the Cool Jazz Trio. Price of admission is a donated good for hurricane victims or $5.00, all of which will be donated to the relief effort.

Items that will be accepted (new goods only) include winter hats, gloves, diapers, underwear, sweat suits, socks, baby clothing, blankets, masks (N95 and P100 only) and baby formula.

More information is available from Walck at 814-260-0323.

Thank you Tim and way to go! When I see things like this I realize things are not all doom and gloom in Coudersport, as our strength is our people. Kudos and dildines to Tim Walck, Lou Karijia, Ron Angood and everyone else out there making a difference.
