Linda L. LaBorde, 62, formerly of Harrisburg Run and later of 2 South Ave, Bradford, PA

Linda L. LaBorde, 62, formerly of Harrisburg Run and later of 2 South Ave., passed away Friday, November 30, 2012 at the Bradford Regional Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family.

Born November 13, 1950 in Harrison Township, she was a daughter of the late Jack D. and Roberta "Bobbie" (Callen ) Bacus. She attended Blaisdell Elementary School and Bradford High School.

She was a hard worker and enjoyed her employment at Futures Rehabilitation Center. She was the first client honored for 40 years of service at Futures. She was active in the Special Olympics Program and excelled in bowling and swimming. She also participated at the state level for Special Olympics. She was member of St. Bernard Church.

Surviving are two sisters, Lori (Ron) Terwilliger, of Willow Creek, Ellen Edwards, of Bradford, two nieces Stephanie Prentice and Christina Edwards, two nephews John Terwilliger and Andy Edwards, a grand nephew Lucas Terwilliger, and several aunts uncles and cousins.

Family will be receiving friends Monday December 5, 2012 in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes 33 South Ave., from 3-5pm and 7-9pm and again on Tuesday December 6, 2012 from 10:00am to 11:00am at which time funeral and committal services will be held with Rev. Raymond Gramata, pastor of St. Bernard Church officiating.
