Mabel Cush Howard Jones, age 86, formerly of Raleigh, North Carolina

Mabel Cush Howard Jones, age 86, formerly of Raleigh, North Carolina, passed away on November 3, 2012 in Frisco, Texas. 

She was born on April 1, 1926 in Emporium, Pennsylvania to Mary Dodson and Charles Howard. On September 30, 1957, Mabel married Braxton L. Jones in Rockville, Maryland. 

Mabel was a math, science and health teacher in Garner, North Carolina and was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Mabel is survived by her four children: Katharine Cush O'Leary and her husband, F.J. of Frisco, Texas; Cynthia Jeanette Jones and Greg Bishop of Denver, Colorado; Lynda Lee Jones of Raleigh, North Carolina; Charles Robert Jones and his wife, Marybeth of Raleigh, North Carolina; eight grandchildren: Katie Jones, Abigail O'Leary, Alison O'Leary, Ashley O'Leary, Erica Jones, Charles Jones, Jr., Braxton Jones and Erica Gonzalez; five great grandchildren: Caleb Rothman, Patrick Tracy, Isaac Tracy, Joey Gonzalez and Ariana Gonzalez; sister, Nina Ferguson and her husband, Donald of Little Genesee, New York.

Mabel is preceded in death by her husband, Braxton L. Jones, parents, Mary and Charles Howard, brother, Charles Howard, Jr., and sister, Rosemary Corell.
