Man Cited For Trespassing On Hunting Lease On Card Creek

A Homer City man was cited by State Police for Criminal Trespass after he was found on leased hunting property and was not a member of the lease.

David Earl Craig, 51, of 315 Six Flat Road, Homer City, PA,  was charged in the incident that occurred along Card Creek Road in Keating Township, Potter County.

Trooper Mark A. VanVolkenburg said the victim, John Schatz, 53, of 294 Carson Street, Emporium, PA, had previously warned Craig that he was not authorized to be on the properly posted property. Craig admitted to being on the property after being warned. He'll answer the charge in District Court 55-3-01.
