A St. Marys man, who fled State Police who had stopped him for speeding along Route 120 at Moore Hill Road in Shippen Township, was apprehended in the City of St. Marys after a short foot pursuit.
Oscar Jackson, Sr., of St. Marys, PA, was stopped Friday at 10:00 PM by State Police at Emporium and after briefly stopping for the officer, lead State Police and City of St. Marys Police on a pursuit ending at Washington Street in the City of St. Marys, PA.
Trooper John Whitcomb said Jackson was charged with DUI, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Fleeing and Eluding and other related motor vehicle violations. The pursuit ended with no injury or damage to persons or property. St. Marys Police K9 Unit assisted in the arrest.
