A Checkpoint Strike Force Initiative looking for persons who were DUI was held by members of Troop C of the Pennsylvania State Police on Route 6 in Wetmore Township, McKean County on November 2 from 10:00 pm to 2:00am.
As a result of the DUI patrol, 1 traffic arrest was made, 1 warning was issued, and NO DUI's were detected. Troop C will continue this initiative throughout 2012.

Seems like a waste of taxpayers money
come back and tell us that when one of your friends or family members is injured or worse in an accident where the other driver is DUI
the purpose of check points isn't to catch drunk drivers, it's to stop them before they hurt themselves, another ,or get arrested.

What part of this dont the cops understand? Worse yet, listen to your citizens!!! What is the propable cause? The fact that your driving down the road??? Also, whens the last time they showed you a warrant when they randomly pulled you over?
