November weather report Galeton
November was a very nice month, however we had a very dry month. There were17 days with no measurable rainfall. We had another 5 days with just a
trace of rainfall. The monthly total was .92" This the lowest amount for
November in my record book since I started taking measurements in 1968.
Last year we recorded 3.31" Actually Pine Creek looks quite good in spite of
the low rainfall. We recorded 1.1" of snowfall, this is the same as we had
last year.
The month started out on the cold side then it warmed up with 68 degrees on
the 11th. Most all month we had cold mornings and warmer afternoons. We
recorded a trace of snow on the ground on 5 mornings.
Winter is just 3 weeks away.

We do need some rain before cold freezes the ground solid. I like your reports and the personal notes you add.
This is one awesome idea. Too bad other towns don't share GOOD news stories.
