Paul J. Kornacki, 84, of Bradford, PA, passed away on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at the Pavilion at Bradford Regional Medical Center.

He was born on February 26, 1928 in Bradford a son of the late John and Victoria Detman Kornacki.

He was a 1946 graduate of the Bradford Area High School.

On May 5, 1947 in the St. Bernard Catholic Church he married Dorothy A. Lyons; who preceded him in death on June 15, 1997.

He was a United States Army veteran of the Korean War.

He was employed by Columbia Gas as a Crew Foreman for over forty one years; retiring in 1987.

He was a member of the St. Bernard Catholic Church.

He is survived by three sons, Terry J. (Candace) Kornacki, Derrick City, Steven P. (Patricia) Kornacki, Thomas J. (Georgiann) Kornacki, all of Bradford, one daughter, Marilyn J. (Francis) Willard, Lewis Run, one sister, Veronica O’Rourke, Bradford, ten grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and wife he was also preceded in death by one infant daughter, one infant granddaughter, Jamie Clark and one brother, Leo Kornacki.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 6, 2012 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Mascho Funeral Home, Inc. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 PM on Wednesday in the St. Bernard Catholic Church with the Rev. Raymond Gramata as celebrant.

Entombment will be in Willow Dale Cemetery

In lieu of flowers; memorial contributions in his memory can be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of the Mascho Funeral Home, Inc.
