Pauline Gorg, 89, of Gaines, PA

Pauline Gorg, 89, of Gaines, PA, died Sunday, November 18, 2012 at The Green Home, Wellsboro, PA.

Born February 20, 1923, in Valley View TX., she was a daughter of the late Sidney L. and Mada K. (Wessarges) Cobb. 

 Pauline worked at Galeton Production, was of member of the Galeton Women of the Moose, was a talented seamstress, and enjoyed reading, flowers, gardening, and helping others. Pauline was a well known “people-person”. 

Surviving are sons, Tye (Diane Mattern) Pickett, Elkland, PA and Perry H. Gorg, Jr., Doylestown, PA; daughters, Beverly A. (Thomas) Jones, Pittsburg, TX and Megan L. (Erwin) Hummel, Pennsburg, PA; 14 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. 

Pauline was predeceased by her husband, Perry Gorg; a daughter, Carol Sue Benson; a brother, Woodrow Cobb; and a sister, Katherine Webb. 

A memorial service will be announced at a later date. 

Memorial contributions may be made to the Second Chance Pet Rescue. 

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Hess Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Collins Chapel, Galeton.
