Penn State Extension Farm Survey Conducted:

Penn State Extension is in the process of surveying farmers in Potter, McKean, Cameron, Elk, and Jefferson Counties to determine the type of agricultural programs that would be valuable in 2013 and beyond. We would also like to update our farming database with current contact information and commodities produced. We encourage any farmers that did not receive a recent survey in the mail to call the Extension office at 814-274-8540. We will be happy to forward you a survey and also add you to our quarterly Ag newsletter. If you’ve already returned your postage-paid survey postcard, thank you for helping us to better understand your needs as member of the local agricultural community.

Penn State Extension is an outreach service of the Penn State University. The Extension office distributes soil and water test kits, offers plant analysis services, and can also provide insect identification. Customers can feel free to stop by at 24 Maple View Lane - off of Route 872 south – or call 274-8540 to obtain materials on gardening, bee keeping, water quality, 4-H/youth programs, and a whole host of other educational topics.
