electionresults Turnout for Tuesday’s General Election was heavy in many Potter County voting districts. Results from all 33 precincts are now complete and appear below. These results are unofficial. The official count will not be available until results are verified and reported by members of the Potter County Canvassing and Computing Board, which will convene later this week.
With all 33 of the county’s voting districts reporting, unofficial results are:
President/Vice President: Mitt Romney/Paul Ryan (Republican) 5,199; Barack Obama/Joe Biden (Democrat) 1,892; Jill Stein/Cheri Honkala (Green) 36; Gary Johnson/James P. Gray (Libertarian) 78.
United States Senator: Tom Smith (R) 4,912; Bob Casey Jr. 1,946; Rayburn Douglas Smith (L) 168.
Attorney General: David J. Freed (R) 4,558; Kathleen G. Kane (D) 2,124; Marakay J. Rogers (L) 230.
Auditor General: John Maher (R) 4,915; Eugene A. DePasquale (D) 1,636; Betsy Elizabeth Summers (L) 374.
State Treasurer: Diana Irey Vaughan (R) 4,721; Robert M. McCord (D) 1,864; Patricia M. Fryman (L) 328.
Representative in Congress: Glenn Thompson (R) 5,479; Charles Dumas (D) 1,582.
Senator in General Assembly: Joseph B. Scarnati III (R) 6,106.
Representative in General Assembly: Martin T. Causer (R) 6,296.
