Pottstown Man Unhurt In Ole Bull Road Crash Sunday

A Pottstown man was uninjured at 8:10 am on Sunday when his 2000 Dodge Dakota crashed on Ole Bull Road in Stewardson Township, about 1/4 mile south of Olebull State Park.

Ricky R. Sell, 51, of Pottstown, PA, was traveling south on Rt. 144 when he hit a patch of ice which spun the rear of the vehicle counterclockwise. He then overcompensated and continued across the northbound lane of travel, striking the eastern embankment with the front driver's side. After impact, the truck spun counterclockwise and struck the eastern embankment with the rear passenger side, rolled onto it's driver's side where it came to rest blocking the southbound lane of travel, according to Trooper Travis Trimbur who investigated.

Sell was cited for not using restraint systems.
