Robert Edward Anderson
Robert Edward Anderson, 57, of Smethport, died Saturday (November 10, 2012) in the Bradford Regional Medical Center, Bradford.

He was born Jan 5, 1955 in Port Allegany, a son of Robert Elwood and Betty Lou Button Anderson.

Mr. Anderson was a 1972 graduate of Smethport High School and a 1977 graduate of Mansfield Teachers College.

Mr. Anderson was a teacher, employed by Smethport School District for 32 years retiring in 2011

He was an avid Buffalo Bills Fan, and an 18 year member of the Sons of the American Legion, Post 138 of Smethport, former assistant track coach for Smethport High School. He helped put American Flags on veteran’s graves for Memorial Day and was a counselor for the 6 grade Outdoor Education Classes.

He is survived by

One brother: Randall (Susan) J. Anderson of Smethport, PA

Long time companion, Karen Benjamin of Smethport, PA.

One nephew Jason Anderson

Step Grandchildren Shylee, Nicholas, Steven, Michaelee, Zacharias, Brandon, Jasmine, and Jacob.

He was preceded in death by his parents

Honoring his request there will be no visitation or funeral services.
