Route 44 closed at crash scene in Northwestern Lycoming County
Motorists in the northwestern corner of Lycoming County are advised that Route 44 is currently closed at the scene of a truck crash near the Black Forest Inn at the Village of Black Forest.
A log truck overturned at that location and is blocking both lanes of Route 44.
Traffic is being detoured onto Slate Run Manor Road.
Emergency responders anticipate the road will be closed into the afternoon hours at that location.
