Sandra S. Pierce, 60, of East Smethport, formerly of Bradford, PA

Sandra S. Pierce, 60, of East Smethport, formerly of Bradford, passed away on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at Sena-Kean Manor, Smethport.

She was born on January 24, 1952 in Galveston, TX, a daughter of the late Henry M. and Alberta Conners Cohn.

On December 24 1983 in Bradford she married Michael P. Pierce, who preceded her in death on February 3, 1988.

She was a graduate of the Bradford Area High School.

She was a member of the Smethport and Norwich Volunteer Fire Departments Ladies Auxiliaries.

She had been employed by the Maple Inn, Crosby, as a Pre-cook and Perkins Restaurant, Bradford as a waitress for a number of years. She had also worked as a gate attendant for the McKean County Fair for the past twenty three years.

She is survived by one son, Henry “Buddy” Cohn, Jr., one daughter, Diane (Charlie) Gardner, Lawrenceville, one sister, Sue McFadden, Uniontown, longtime companion, Leroy Beeson, East Smethport, four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband she was also preceded in death by one stepsister, Linda Jinkons.

At her request there will be no visitation or services.

Burial will be in Willow Dale Cemetery.

Memorial contributions in her memory can be made to the American Cancer Society, 95 Main Street, Bradford, PA 16701.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of the Mascho Funeral Home, Inc.
