State Police Amity stop attempted Burglary
On 11-10-12 at approximately 6:30 pm, Allegany County 911 received a
report of a possible burglary in progress at a cabin on Lyman Rd in the
Town of Clarksville.
Troopers Alexander Ray and Angel Lynch responded
to that location and observed four males near the residence. Through
investigation, it was revealed that the subjects were attempting to
burglarize the residence but they didn't have enough time to gain
access. All four subjects were taken into custody and transported to SP
Amity for processing.
John H. Ames, Age 19, from Buffalo, was charged with Attempted
Burglary 2nd Degree, Endangering the Welfare of a Child and Unlawful
possession of Marihuana.
Joel A Brown Jr, Age 22, from Buffalo, was charged with Attempted
Burglary 2nd Degree, Criminal possession of a weapon 4th degree and
Endangering the welfare of a Child.
Chad A. Colts, Age 18, from Buffalo, was charged with Attempted
Burglary 2nd Degree, Endangering the welfare of a Child and Unlawful
possession of marihuana.
All three subjects were arraigned in the Town of Clarksville and
remanded to Allegany County Jail in lieu of $500.00 cash bail or
$1,000.00 secure bond. The fourth male subject was a 14 year old
juvenile.

Way to make city people look good as if buffalo didn't have a bad enough rap
Hats off to the person(s) that noticed the 4 people & called 911. Glad that no one was hurt. Good to know that we still have honest & caring people around.
