Woman Didn't Pay For Peanut Butter Cups

A Ulysses woman is facing court action after she was charged with retail theft by State Police.

Carmen Lee Lampman, 34, of 684 Academy Street, Ulysses, PA, was cited by Trooper Derek Weaver after she reportedly took possession of one bag of Palmer peanut butter cups from the Kountry Market in Ulysses, PA, on Thursday at 8:00 am, without paying for it. The merchandise was valued at $1.19.

A non-traffic citation was filed in District Court 55-4-03 for Retail Theft.

Maybe this was an "accident". Once I accidentally walked out with a piece of key lime pie. The reason: I was watching a guy get arrested for shoplifting and mid self-checkout I didn't scan it. Sometimes we forget we have tucked things away.
